Privacy Policy
📋 Overview
Merkabati Business respects user privacy. This policy explains how data is handled when using the application and distinguishes between fleet-management data stored on the user's device and limited technical data required for subscription, licensing, and security functions.
🚚 1. Fleet Management Data
Merkabati Business allows users to manage fleet-related information such as vehicles, drivers, maintenance, service and oil records, reminders, workshops, documents, attachments, and other information entered by the user.
Core fleet-management data is stored locally on the user's device according to the application's implementation. Subscription or license ownership is not represented by fleet backup files.
Users are responsible for appropriately managing and safeguarding files and backups they create or export from the application.
📎 2. Documents, Attachments and Archive
Documents and attachments added by the user may be stored within the application's storage on the device.
Archive and attachment performance depends on file sizes and the storage space available on the user's device. The application provides tools for managing and exporting archive content.
Use of the archive does not mean that documents are automatically uploaded to cloud storage operated by Merkabati Business unless such a feature is introduced and expressly disclosed in a future version.
🔐 3. Device and Licensing Data
For licensing, subscription protection, one-device enforcement, security, and abuse prevention, the application and server may process limited technical information relating to the installation, device, and application.
Depending on the features enabled in the version being used, this may include:
- A randomly generated application installation identifier.
- An ANDROID_ID signal within the scope provided by Android.
- Application, package, and version information.
- A server-derived device identifier used for licensing.
- Subscription, license, and device-binding state.
- Verification timestamps and limited technical licensing events.
An installation identifier or device-related technical signal alone does not constitute proof of payment or subscription ownership.
⭐ 4. Google Play and Subscriptions
When paid subscriptions are offered, purchases and subscription management are processed through Google Play in accordance with Google's services and policies.
Merkabati Business may process technical subscription information such as product or plan identifiers, purchase-verification references, entitlement status, and relevant verification timestamps to the extent required to validate subscriptions and operate licensing.
📊 5. Trial Period and Excel Export
You may use Merkabati Business to experience fleet management during the trial period. Excel report export becomes available after the paid subscription begins.
Excel export remains unavailable throughout the trial period. The passage of the trial period alone does not unlock Excel export; the feature requires a paid subscription to begin and its status to be verified.
If the trial ends or is cancelled without a paid subscription beginning, Excel export remains unavailable.
📱 6. One-Device Policy
A paid Merkabati Business license is designed to support one active device per license.
The application and server may use licensing and device information to verify the authorized device and prevent the same license from being active on multiple devices simultaneously.
Restoring Google Play purchases does not automatically transfer a license to a different device, and restoring a fleet-data backup does not constitute a license transfer.
🛡️ 7. Application Integrity and Abuse Prevention
Merkabati Business may use protection services provided by Google, such as Google Play Integrity, to validate application/device context and help prevent fraud or abuse of the licensing system when those services are enabled in the version being used.
An application-integrity result alone is not treated as proof of payment or as a substitute for subscription verification.
🔗 8. Data Sharing
Merkabati Business does not sell users' fleet-management data.
Limited technical data may be processed by service providers necessary to operate specific functionality, such as Google Play for store, subscription, and integrity-related services, according to the application's functionality and the relevant provider's policies.
User data is not shared with other parties for unrelated purposes unless required by law or appropriately disclosed and consented to where applicable.
🔒 9. Security and Data Minimization
Merkabati Business aims to process only the data reasonably necessary to provide application functionality, verify subscriptions, and protect the licensing system.
Appropriate technical measures are used to protect relevant communications and service data; however, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
Sensitive credentials or tokens are not intentionally recorded in application or server logs without a legitimate operational need.
🗄️ 10. Data Retention
Local fleet-management data remains on the user's device until it is deleted by the user, application data is cleared, or the application is removed, subject to Android behavior and application functionality.
The licensing server may retain technical records necessary for subscription administration, licensing, device binding, and abuse prevention for as long as reasonably required for those purposes and applicable operational or legal requirements.
Detailed retention periods will be aligned with the actual service implementation before public release.
⏳ 11. Subscription Expiry or Loss of Entitlement
Expiration or loss of subscription entitlement does not mean that fleet-management data stored on the user's device is deleted.
The application may transition to a data-viewing mode while restricting functionality that requires an active subscription, according to the application's access policy.
💾 12. Backups and Licensing
A Merkabati Business data backup is not a license and does not transfer subscription ownership to another device.
Backup files and Excel reports must not be treated as proof of subscription ownership or as a mechanism for transferring a license.
🌐 13. Third-Party Services
The application may rely on Google services associated with Android and Google Play, including services required for distribution, subscriptions, and application-integrity verification when enabled.
Google's processing of data is subject to Google's own terms and privacy policies.
👤 14. User Choices and Data Management
The application provides tools for managing local fleet data according to available functionality, including adding, editing, deleting, or exporting data when those functions are available under the applicable subscription state.
Requests relating to server-side licensing information may require verification of the requester's relationship to the subscription in order to protect users and prevent unauthorized license takeover.
📝 15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when application functionality, services, Google Play requirements, or applicable legal requirements change.
The latest revision date will be displayed on this page when an updated policy is published.
